Located at the foot of the Andes, in the upper reaches of the Cachapoal Valley, Torreon de Paredes has been well-known to always make merlot of character and has always been between the best merlot of Descorchados. We have said in the past, that the Paredes Brothers are part of the few who understand this rootstock, and they are also one of the few who have shown consistency with it. To this date, this Reserva Privada is the best example of their work with merlot, the wine grown in a fresh climate which shows elegant fruit, a great balance and, above all a wine for aging.
